Smoothies are true vitamin bombs Smoothies are an easy way to meet our essential vitamin needs. For many of us it is difficult to eat fruit or vegetables five times a day as recommended. So it’s easier if you pack everything in the blender or mince it with a blender, because you can finish the daily vitamin bomb in no time. But which fruits are actually suitable for smoothies?
In principle, you can put everything in the blender to your liking. Kiwis are suitable e.g. Fantastic for a delicious drink, as they contain a variety of healthy nutrients and also combine very well in taste with the most diverse fruits. Especially delicious are e.g. Combinations with apples, pineapple, bananas and strawberries. But also fruit-vegetable combinations taste great. Convince yourself and try the following recipes:
❶ Kiwi smoothie with yoghurt
- 2 ripe kiwis
- 300 g green grapes without seeds
- 2 tablespoons juice of one lemon
- 2 tablespoons acacia honey
- 400 g 1.5% yoghurt
- 12 Ice cubes
Peel and slice the kiwis. Then wash the grapes, put aside some for the garnish, halve the remaining ones and then puree and then pass through a sieve. Then finely puree all the ingredients together, fill them into glasses and garnish with kiwi slices and grapes and serve immediately.
As an enzyme in kiwi releases bitter substances in yoghurt You need to drink the smoothie immediately or steam the fruits first. Otherwise, you can also use a few candied kiwis.
❷ Kiwi smoothie with grape juice
- 3 ripe kiwis
- 1, 5 bananas
- 200 ml white grape juice
- 2 tablespoons juice of a lime
- 100 g crushed ice
Peel the kiwis and bananas, cut into not too small pieces and puree with the other ingredients in the blender. Ready!
❸ Kiwi Vegetable Smoothie
- 2 ripe kiwis
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp Juice of a freshly pressed lime
- 1 medium-sized cucumber without shell
- 20 g celery green
- 20 g fresh spinach
- 180 ml water
Slice the cucumber, banana and kiwis after peeling, clean the celery and spinach and blend them together in a blender. Then puree with the addition of lime juice and serve with water.
❹ Kiwi smoothie with coconut milk
- 1/2 slice of pineapple
- 1 kiwi
- 2 tablespoons ice-cold coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon passion fruit syrup
- crushed ice
Cut the pineapple and the peeled kiwi into small cubes, mix with the coconut milk and the passion fruit syrup and then mix again with the ice cream. Then fill in a glass and enjoy.
